Contemporary art practice is now so entangled with theoretical knowledge that it is becoming a research practice in and of itself. Artists integrate research methods and scientific knowledge into their artistic process, thus blurring the lines between art and theory. The research program at Hangar aims to be practiced based and intends to present seminars, conferences, public events, cinema sessions and artist talks, organised by artists, curators and researchers. It will also be a platform between them and in interaction with the general public.
