Coletivo Compasso is a qualification and training program for immigrant children and youth and from the diasporas, at risk of social exclusion. It aims at the sustainability of the young people and their professional development in the visual arts. It is a collaborative program, co-creation among the immigrant community, artists and educators from Hangar. Coletivo Compasso develops activities in the photographic and audiovisual areas, promoting discussions about the image and its possibilities.
Currently working with the immigrant community in Graça – Sapadores and Alto da Eira lines, periodic meetings are held with the participants and the partner entities, to guarantee and promote the participation of young people in various fields, in particular the delineation of content for pedagogical and playful activities for young people, children and their families.
