Projeto: “Breve cartografia do silêncio”
Tom Correia (Salvador/Bahia) is a Brazilian street photographer, writer and journalist. Former fellow and current member of Sacatar Institute Board of Directors, he’s inspired by photography masters as Maureen Bisilliat, Eugene Atget, Jacob Riis and Juan Rulfo. Social asymmetries, movement, territory and exclusion are key words for his work in literature or photography.
His ongoing project, Brief cartography of the silence, creates series of visual chronicles with empty spaces and ordinary people, especially those who have no voice or visibility.
