Liz Obert usa a câmara fotográfica como meio de contar histórias. Investigou temas sociais associados a sem-abrigos e doenças mentais, além de se dedicar à fotografia de rua. Reside, actualmente, em Portland, Oregon e é professora associada de arte no Linfield College. Tem os diplomas BFA do College of Santa Fe e MFA da Washington State University. Já expôs o seu trabalho nacional e internacionalmente, que foi publicado na Slate Magazine e no Huffington Post.
Liz Obert uses the camera as a medium for storytelling. She has investigated social themes such as houslessness and mental illness as well as indulging in street photography. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon and is an Associate Professor of Art at Linfield College. She received her BFA from College of Santa Fe and her MFA from Washington State University. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. She has also been published in Slate Magazine and the Huffington Post.
