Liz Obert usa a câmara fotográfica como meio de contar histórias. Investigou temas sociais associados a sem-abrigos e doenças mentais, além de se dedicar à fotografia de rua. Reside, actualmente, em Portland, Oregon e é professora associada de arte no Linfield College. Tem os diplomas BFA do College of Santa Fe e MFA da Washington State University. Já expôs o seu trabalho nacional e internacionalmente, que foi publicado na Slate Magazine e no Huffington Post.

She currently resides in Portland, Oregon and is an Associate Professor of Art at Linfield College. She received her BFA from College of Santa Fe and her MFA from Washington State University.
