Javier Mansilla Calderón (Santiago Chille, 1984) is an artist whose thoughts materialize in a wide range of media, such as paintings, installations, sculptures, objects and, lately, poems and live acts. Each project implies learning of a new media. Most of his work addresses how humans relate to nature and landscape, and therefore to each other. Reflecting on the problems of nature and pollution led him to linger in organic and synthetic crossings, using this image as a symbol of this human versus nature relationship, thus exploiting the possibilities of waste.
