Yibo Xu (China, 1985) carried out a large number of experiments of different types in artistic creation and explored multi-dimensions on the basis of traditional sculpture as a disciplinary background. The work carries its own thinking process from the perspective of interactive devices, immersive images and data visualization. Xu pays attention to both the present and the future, so that art and technology can talk on a broader media platform. We can see this creative context in recent years through his “self-healing function” series of works, where the post-human sense of crisis and the concern about a transparent society are always present. Cristina Mejías (Jerez, 1986) has a BA in Fine Arts from Universidad Europea de Madrid, the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and an MA from Universidad Computense de Madrid. Her work has been shown recently in art centres including C3A (Córdoba), MACZUL (Maracaibo), Matadero Madrid/Galerias Municipais (Lisbon), Fundación Mendoza (Caracas), TEA (Tenerife), Artothèque (Bordeaux), Centro Cultural de España (Rosario; Lima), LABoral (Gijon), CAAC (Seville), CentroCentro (Madrid), among others and it will shortly be exhibited in La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Blueproject Foundation (Barcelona) and Centro Párraga (Murcia). Nicholas Jacob lives and works in NYC and Saudi Arabia. He received his BFA from Manhattanville College and his MFA from the New York Academy of Art in 2010, where he became a Dedalus Foundation Master of Fine Art Nominee. Nicholas has taught at several institutions throughout New York, including Pace University, The Harlem School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, and the New York Academy of Art’s Continuing Education Department. From 2014-2016, Nicholas curated exhibitions for Window Studio located in Brooklyn. At Window Studio, he collaborated to earn Brooklyn Arts Council grants for the project in 2015 and 2016. In addition to being on faculty with the New York State Summer School for the Arts (NYSSSA) Visual Arts Program since 2012, Nicholas became the Assistant Artistic Director in 2016.
