Anneli Holmstrom graduated with a Masters from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009 and currently lives and works in Edinburgh. Since graduating Holmstrom has attained residencies in Venice, Chicago, Finland, China, Orkney and Norway and has exhibited in both group and solo shows at home and internationally. She is the recipient of several artistic awards, including Henry Moore Foundation, RSA Residencies for Scotland and Svenska Kulturfonden with works housed in collections in China, Finland, Scotland as well as Tate Archives in London. She is also the co-founder of the artist collective Captain Lightfoot, an artistic network aimed at creating collaborative opportunities for artists interested in exploring creative approaches to exhibition making
