Sean Negus is a transdisciplinary artist and poet integrating poetics with various modes of multimedia, visual forms, and translation to explore the expanded boundaries of poetics. Intermedia poetries; experimental forms of lyrical inquiry come together through this work to synthesize new forms. An adjunct professor at California College of the Arts, he also works at other colleges in the San Francisco Bay Area.
A recent fellowship with Stanford University’s Center for Latin American Studies and Global Studies Division has examined poetic consciousness through interdisciplinary approaches and studied its occurrence in contemporary Brazilian poetries.
His first book of poetry, Hurricane Music, was recently published by Editora Córrego and again Mocho Edições.
