A young artist from Yorkshire, England, currently studying Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, Londonl, Samuel Bartle is interested in philophies of the self and identity as well the anthropological spaces we inhabit. Using technology as an aid to explore themes surrounding masculinity, solitude, interaction and self analysis, Bartle enjoy deconstructing his own identity to formulate his work. It takes many mediums but can be most commonly found in text, sculpture and recently, sound. Above all concepts, queerness and otherness are present throughout all his work, always with a sence of not-quite-right and discomfort.
