‘We Are Not From Here’, or, ‘No, We Are From Here’, understand it as how it sounds best to you. I have disruptive beliefs in me that displace the idea of ​​nationalist belonging, or patriarchalism colonization euro-centered, let the news that doesn’t want to be heard come to us, the idiom, the color of the skin, the politicized treatment, the body speaks and its existence is resistance. I wanted to gather, diaspora artists in Lisbon, as a complex painting, brush-stroked with the colors of life, dreams, and (un)conventional History. There’s no time to waste, with deep rage and vitality, youth African descents are reborn and present – refusing to accept the exile of Art, Communication, Individuality, Active Participation on issues of public-civil importance and no longer admits the Exile of their Existence. ‘No, We Are From Here’ and is where we are going to talk to the world.
