Máximo González by Editor August 31, 2019 0 Portfolios

Máximo González was born in Argentina in 1971. He is known for his collages made with currency out of circulation, which express the complications of a consumer culture that exploits natural resources, produces waste, and lately drives nations to bankruptcy.
He realizes huge installations of immersive character. His constant interests are the environment, the education, and the schemes of value installed in our society. On his arrival to Mexico, where he lives and works, he was captivated by the social and architectural structure of the informal wandering commerce, which served as inspiration to his cultural non-profit project called “Changarrito”.
