Kelsey Geiger is an American artist who completed her graduate studies in Transpersonal Art Therapy. Her work is informed by her contemplative practice, her relationship with the numinous and relationship with self and other. Through Kelsey’s creative process, works are developed by tuning into subtle sensation, thoughts and emotions that arise while she is creating. By tuning into the process of creation and communing with the artwork, greater meaning outside of the original concept is made. Kelsey seeks to examine the depths and complexities of the human experience through an exploration of archetypical themes, ancestral lineage and spontaneous personal symbols that call out to be amplified. Her most recent works dive into the idea of how circumambulation – in a psychospiritual context, can glean insight into the different parts of the self and how our parts inform the way we navigate and relate to the world around us.
