Gabriel Bott (b.1988, Stockholm, Sweden), lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. He studied Philosophy at the University of Stockholm (2010 – 2011) and got his MFA Degree at The Royal Danish Art Academy (2011 – 2017). Gabriel’s artistic research goes towards understanding about automations that are shaping individual narration within society. By using a variety of materials that has different cultural connotations, Gabriel revolves around topics related to collective communication, cultural learning and how it shapes subjective experience. The importance of navigating around and in – between the different social structures instead of seeing them as closed entities has become a key element in Gabriel’s practice.
