These points made me curious about the construction of memory through our relationship with the affective imaginary as children. For me, everything we experience in childhood are narratives endlessly recreated by our affective imagination in order to make them that place place of belonging that we call memory. In my process, I’m trying always seek to achieve a dreamlike look at memory. So I use colors to feed the construction of a subjective and poetic atmosphere, trying to reveal the emotional state of the scene observed” Carcav tells.
