Carmen Colibazzi (b.1981, Rome), lives and works in Rome.
Carmen Colibazzi obtained her fine arts diploma from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, specialising in Performance and Textile Art, winning also a scholarship to study at the Kunstschule in Basel, where she consolidated her signature aesthetic language that makes special use of thread. She has also employed it in her performances, installations and her visual arts as the medium most particularly congenial to her. She has figured in numerous national and international exhibitions and has won both prizes and scholarships, showing her works in such places as Belgrade, Istanbul and the Castle of Rivoli in Turin.
