Carlos Fernández-Pello (1985) is an artist and researcher based in Madrid. He holds an MA in Art Theory, a PhD in Fine Arts (UCM), and has lectured at places like SAIC, CA2M, or IED. He also runs his own design practice, Pucalpa, works occasionally as a curator (LCE, SAJCM or Nogueras Blanchard) and is the co-editor of NUDO magazine. His doctoral dissertation tackled the relationship between text, matter and imagination in the context of academic knowledge while his current research revolves around textuality, hardcore relativism, cephalopods and haptics. As an artist he has exhibited recently at Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), The Renaissance Society (Chicago), Het Wilde Weten (Rotterdam), Conde Duque (Madrid) or LCE (Madrid).
