Maria Trabulo (b.1989 Porto, Portugal)
Based in Porto and Vienna. Maria has sustained an active artistic work exhibiting both individually and collectively, since 2010, and has been awarded several times for her work both in Portugal and abroad. Has had participations as an artist in various publications and online spaces, among other participations, symposiums, and artist residencies. Over the course of her practice, Maria has developed collaborative pieces with various professionals in the fields of arts, architecture and performing arts. Trabulo was in 2012 the founding member of collective Expedição, based in Porto and focused in reactivating the artistic practice in the city and the supporting of local artists amidst the financial crisis, with a program based in the intersection of different generations of local and non-local artists. Maria has recently concluded the MA in Art & Science at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna with the support of Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, and she previously graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Fine Arts in Porto and the Academy of Fine Arts in Iceland.

Luis Plácido Costa (b.1981, Alcobaça) lives and works between Alcobaça and Lisbon. Graduated in Fine Arts from the ESAD – Escola Superior de Artes & Design, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal (2006-2010), concluded his MA in Visual Arts from the Escola Superior de Artes & Design, Caldas da Rainha. Portugal (2011-2012). Luis Plácido Costa has been in artistic residencies such as Echangeur´22 in Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres, France, in 2017; Biennial Foundation of Cerveira, 2016; Mieszkanie Gepperta Gallery, in Wroclaw, Poland in 2013. Since 2010 his works have been shown in Portugal and abroad, amongst which can be distinguished: MOSTRA’17 Lisboa (2017); Project with sculptor António Bolota at Galery Sá da Costa, Lisbon (2017); “Winner of Open Call to Artists Sata Airlines Award – Walk&Talk, Azores(2015); Superfície Abandonada ou Virada para dentro, Solo exhibition in Atelier 6-Centro de Artes, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal (2015); XVIII International Art Biennial of Cerveira ,Vila Nova de Cerveira, Portugal(2015).

Diogo da Cruz is a conceptual artist based in Lisbon. He received a BA in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fines Arts of Lisbon (2012) and a Diploma in Free Kunst from the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München (2016), where he studied with the professor Hermann Pitz, and the guest professors Ceal Floyer, Andrea Fraser and Tyler Coburn. He participated in the Independent Study Programme at Maumaus – Escola de Artes Visuais in Lisbon (2016).

His work has been shown in Portugal, Germany, Austria, Spain, Greece, Sweden, Bulgaria and Scotland, including: ‘Geltung [validity]: perception of a natural right’ at GENERATORprojects/ NEoN Digital Art Festival, Dundee (2017); ‘The Social Art Award’ at Institute for Art and Innovation, Berlin (2017); ‘WORDCOIN’ screened at Transmission Video Art Festival in Kassel (part of the programme of Documenta 14), Karlsruhe (part of UND#9) and Warsaw, Germany-Poland (2017); ‘BOOBS – THE SEMIOLOGY OF BREAST’ at TAF / The Art Foundation, Athens (2017); ‘ARTE JOVEM 2017’ at Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa, Lisbon (2017); ‘The gravity of time’ at Sofia Underground Performance Festival, Sofia (2017).
