SHHE is the alias of Scottish-Portuguese artist and musician, Su Ferreira Shaw. Recent projects include Eyes Shut and B O Y – a video collaboration with filmmaker and photographer Harry Clark and dancers from Scottish Dance Theatre; Geographical Skin with Athens-based dancer and choreographer Eve Ganneau and collaborations with Scottish collage artist Portis Wasp and visual artist Katie Ravenscraig.

SHHE is currently developing D Ý R A – a live multi-sensory project which explores the connections between sound, meditation and sleep in the Westfjords of Iceland, with support from Creative Scotland.

B R I D G E / is a sound and visual project inspired by Ponte 25 de Abril. Fusing live and recorded sound with moving image, this new work will explore the themes of connection and identity – personal, impersonal and interconnected – at a time when links between Scotland and Europe are under threat.
