A lustrous r&b infused jazz sound, songwriter and performing artist, Seyblu represents a diverse femme community with a fierce fashion sense and enchanting live show. Her latest EP release, Silk Sessions and accompanying music video for the title track (26:06) was born out of a collaborative cabin retreat in rural Ontario.
Seyblu’s main collaborators producer SLWJMZ and visual director Gizelle Griarte helped bring romantic imagery to life through vulnerable lyrics, sultry visuals, and sparkly vocal layers. After numerous songwriting challenges, composer and producer retreats during the pandemic, Seyblu is looking forward to releasing a new body of work in 2022
