Paula Martínez is a Chilean Visual Artist. Bachelor in Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Co-founder of the art collective “La Casa de las Recogidas”, Master in Art and Visual Culture at Estudios Independientes V, directed by Gonzalo Pedraza. From drawing, painting, performance, video to installations, her work focuses on identity and its forms of representation, and the daily relationship with mainstream culture, theatre and masks, revealing the key role this historical artefact has on the relevance of face in visual history. She currently lives and works in Santiago, Chile.
