CAM, LA COOPERATIVE D’IMMIGRATION is a work in progress, a project that is already an event between north and south. __in its raw reality CAM is an archive that grows over time, it can be seen as an installation, a performance, a work in progress [work in progress, as the Anglophones call it] art of behaviour, ARTE PRECEITO / ARTE DE PRECEITO [as PNAC/ LTDA is currently saying] an event . — the work is materialised with boxes-folders of files, in short the work is a workshop that generates other works, _ in this way it comes close to the BUREAU-X DE LANGUE [ another project carried out by the artist, about learning the language of others and teaching them his own], a process of uninterrupted infinitude and at the same time drifting —— as a process, the most important thing is that the ‘WELCOME’ series is already underway, a collection of posters and pamphlets that prophesise a good welcome are installed in the exhibition space and can be taken by the public, who leave their money in a specific container to reproduce the same prints.
_ Alfandega (Customs) is the work that gives its title to the exhibition by pindoramic artist Paulo Nazareteh, which takes place in Lisbon / Portugal. The piece consists of a box of paper transported by commercial plane from Confins International Airport to Lisbon International Airport, __ its contents are the air exhaled by the artist’s lungs into a transparent plastic bag in Alto do Palmital in Santa Luzia in the middle of the old Estrada Real, which used to transport gold and other resources from Minas Gerais in Brazil to the ports of the Portuguese Metropole.
Paulo Nazareth (born in 1977, Governador Valadares, Brasil) resides in Minas Gerais, Brasil when he is not travelling.
