Elin Lindecrantz is a Swedish-born painter based in Barcelona since 2015. Using painted media to manifest observations in ordinary happenings, she regards light and space as the protagonists in her work. The artist has been a member of the local Tangent Projects independent art space and studio community since 2019.

“On Waiting and Living” was her first solo exhibition in Barcelona (September 2023) following multiple group shows in Barcelona and Lisbon, and an artist-in-residence at PADA Studios (Lisbon 2022) as part of their collaborative residency programme with Turps Banana Magazine and Art School. In October 2023 Lindecrantz was taking part in a one-month residency at Duplex Air in Lisbon.
