Daniel Moraes (b.1981, Campinas – São Paulo) is an artist, designer and provocateur. Graduated in Industrial Design by the Faculty of Campinas, his works are multimedia and multifaceted. In a more traditional strand, he explores drawings in ink, watercolor, oil paint, acrylic paint, spray, pencil, marker pens. In another aspect, he intervenes in elements of nature such as dry leaves, stones, branches, trees and plants with synthetic materials – glitter, ink, embroidery, spray, etc. Daniel Moraes is moved by what he calls the ‘aesthetics of transformation’, seeking beauty in people and places at times improbable, always ready to re-signify them with a unique, multicultural and sensitive view of social issues.
