Carolina Martinez is an artist, graduated in Architecture and Post-Graduated in History of Art and Architecture at PUC-Rio, Brazil. She became known for her artistic work in 2010 when she participated in the Contemporary Art Salon of the Ribeirão Preto Museum of Art, São Paulo, Brazil. Since then Martinez has been exhibiting in Individuals and Collectives throughout Brazil and the United States, such as: “Seeing Thru Abstraction”, Residency Unlimited (Brooklyn, NY – 2015); “Fulfillment Solo-Show”, Residency Unlimited (Brooklyn, NY – 2015 ); “What I couldn’t see”, individual Galeria Portas Vilaseca (Rio de Janeiro, 2016); “The Question of Space in Art”, EAV-Parque Lage (Rio de Janeiro, 2014); “Às Avessas”, individual by Galeria Laura Marsiaj (Rio de Janeiro, 2013); “Attributes of Silence”, Galeria Bergamin (São Paulo, 2015) and AAA – Anthology of Art and Architecture, curated by Sol Camacho – Galpão Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel (São Paulo, 2020). Currently, her work is represented by two galleries in Brazil, namely: Galeria Portas Vilaseca in Rio de Janeiro and Galeria Marília Razuk in São Paulo.
