Ana Likar (1996) is a visual artist working primarily with video, installations, and text. In her work, she explores the practices of preservation, maintenance, and archiving, focusing particularly on how power relations are articulated through them. She has exhibited at Gjon Mili Biennial (Pristina, Kosovo), Triennial of Art and Environment (Maribor, Slovenia), Biennial of Young Artists (Skopje, North Macedonia), Klima Biennial (Vienna, Austria), as well as at the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (Ljubljana, Slovenia), mumok (Vienna, Austria), Slovenian Natural History Museum (Ljubljana, Slovenia), Budapest Galeria (Budapest, Hungary), Collegium Artisticum (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Improper Walls (Vienna, Austria), and P74 Gallery (Ljubljana, Slovenia). In 2022, she was nominated for the VordembergeGildewart Award, and in 2023, she received the OHO Young Visual Artists Award. She currently studies at Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main.
