The Brazilian anthropologist and writer Goli Guerreiro returns to Lisbon through the invitation of BUALA, alongside support from Secretaria de Cultura do Governo da Bahia, in order to to launch her new novel Alzira está morta – ficção histórica no mundo negro do Atlântico.
The book will be presented by Professor Cristiana Bastos from Lisbon University. The author Goli Guerreiro will also be present to talk about the themes she explores in the book.
Set in the 20th century, Alzira está morta is a biographical historical novel, which portrays a fictional protagonist character called Baiana Alzira Rocha (1911 – 1988).
