Margarida Waco (Cabinda/Denmark) is an architect and writer, currently a doctoral fellow at the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta), ETH Zürich. She was previously Head of Strategic Outreach at The Funambulist, Associate Lecturer and Studio Leader at the Royal College of Art, and Curator at Aarhus Architecture Festival. Her work on the relationship between space, politics, and ecology has been presented at the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale, Palais de Tokyo, Architekturmuseum der TUM, Form/Design Center, Galeria Municipal do Porto, Copenhagen Architecture Forum, among others. She is co-editor of Pan-Africanism (The Funambulist, 2020), Homeplace – A Love Letter (Architekturmuseum der TUM, 2023), Rehearsals: Toward an Economy of Care and Repair (2025), and co-author of Kaminsky Arkitektur (TAC Think Tank Editions, 2024) and Informal Horizons (Royal Danish Academy, 2019).
