Ceci Moss is a curator, writer, and educator with twenty years of professional practice. Her first book, Expanded Internet Art, was published by Bloomsbury, and her writing has appeared in Artforum, Art in America, ArtAsiaPacific, The Wire, CURA, and Rhizome. She has taught at UC San Diego, California College of the Arts, USC, Scripps College, and NYU. Previously, she was the Director and Chief Curator at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), Director and Chief Curator of the Mandeville Art Gallery at UC San Diego, Founding Director of Gas, Assistant Curator at YBCA, the Senior Editor of Rhizome, and Special Projects Coordinator at the New Museum. She holds a PhD and MA in Comparative Literature from New York University and a BA in History and Sociology from UC Berkeley.
