Patricia Vázquez Gómez’s art practice investigates the social functions of art, the intersections between aesthetics, ethics and politics and the expansion of social practices.
Her research has manifested in paintings, prints, video, sound, exhibitions, installations, and public events.
Her work has been shown at the Oregon Contemporary Artists Biennial, the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, Art League Houston, and other institutions, but also at apartment buildings, schools and all kinds of public spaces.
