Emanuele Dainotti (1987, IT) lives and works between Antwerp and Milan.
Through video installations, immersive environments, and Virtual Reality, he creates liminal spaces where visceral human responses confront the abstraction of digital mediation, examining how violence becomes normalized in our hyper-connected consciousness.
His work has been presented at Museum of the Moving Image (USA); Cineteca do MAM Rio (Brazil); Het Nieuwe Instituut (Netherlands); MNAC (Portugal); Beursschouwburg (Belgium);
Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin (France); Reykjavík International Film Festival (Iceland); Athens Digital Arts Festival (Greece).
This residency is supported by the Flemish Government’s Department of Culture, Youth, and Media.
