Glauco Adorno

Glauco Adorno is a Brazilian researcher and writer. Born in São Paulo, he completed his undergraduate studies in Graphic Design in Brazil. In 2016, he received a Master of Arts degree in Art History from Louisiana State University, in the United States. After working as a curatorial assistant in the LSU Museum of Art, Glauco became the collection manager for the estate of American photographer Richard Albertine. There he organized the collection and wrote about Albertine’s oeuvre, connecting with photography galleries and producing exhibitions.

Currently based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Glauco works as an editor for a publishing house which focuses on art and humanities. In August 2024 he was admitted in the visual arts doctorate program at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), with a research project focused on photography , masculinity and racial representation.
