About
Wisdom Warriors are a collective that designed a revolutionary project that can drastically change the way society relates to technology.
In a new video-musical-performance Diogo da Cruz will re-enact and describe different pieces from the collective, paying tribute to a minority movement that failed, being restricted by the devices with which they act.
Diogo da Cruz is a conceptual artist based in Lisbon and Munich. He received a BA in Sculpture from the FBAUL (2012) and a Diploma in Sculpture from the ADBK München (2016), where he studied with Hermann Pitz, and guest professors Ceal Floyer, Andrea Fraser and Tyler Coburn. He participated in the Independent Study Programme of Maumaus – Escola de Artes Visuais in Lisbon (2016).
His work has been shown at numerous exhibitions in Europe, Russia and Uruguay, including in 2019: Novo Banco Revelação, Fundação de Serralves, Porto; ‘Wisdom Warriors’, Ruine München – Various Others, Munich; NANO//REVOLUTIONS, Espacio de Arte Contemporáneo, Montevideo, Uruguay.
Da Cruz is assistant professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich since 2018.
