CancerClasse, Lubanzadyo Mpemba, color, 4’27”, 2018

CancerClasse as an instrument of social reflection seeks to question daily transitions as well as historical continuities present in the social interior of Luanda that reveal various urban dimensions.

We seek to understand the image as variants of everyday life present in the “official Angolan political theater” assisted by bureaucracy. On the other hand, the construction of video art questions the symbolic oppression produced by various political discourses that ensure social invisibilities that take place in the spatial issue as well as in class relations. Which is naturalized and adjusted by the existing border between the urban political world, and the musseques.
