Thinking through the norms and conditions which we have to embody in order to belong to the collective. Thinking through the roles we have to adopt in order not to disrupt the order of things and therefore render ourselves an enemy to the collective body.<\/p>\n<p>Working with sculpture, drawing, painting, installation and performance I gravitate to materials which are inscribed with meaning from my childhood in apartheid South Africa, and more broadly reference the black experience as lived by the black diaspora throughout history.
