Andreia Santana (1991, Lisbon), lives and works between Lisbon and New York. Andreia\u00a0helds a BA degree in Fine Arts in ESAD – School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha and participated in the Independent Study Program in Visual Arts from Maumaus\/Lumiar Cit\u00e9 in Lisbon.<\/p>\n

Since 2013, she has participated in several artistic residency programs, namely, Residency Unlimited in New York with a fellowship from Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Panal 360 in Buenos Aires, Mieszkanie Gepperta Residency Gallery at Wroclaw, Poland and Gasworks \/ Triangle Network at Hangar in Lisbon. She won the NOVO BANCO Revela\u00e7\u00e3o Prize in 2016 and the Sculpture Prize D. Fernando II, exhibiting her work regularly in Portugal and abroad, highlighting the exhibitions \u2018Leaves of Absence\u2019 at Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, Porto (2017); ‘New Skin, Old Stone’ at Old School, cur. by Susana Pomba, Lisbon\u00a0(2017); ‘The Lobster Loop’ at MONITOR Gallery, Lisbon (2017)\u00a0\u2018Pousio \/ Fallow\u2019 (screening) – Fuso, at MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, Lisbon (2016), \u2018Tabula Rasa\u2019 at Zaratan – Contemporary Art, Lisbon (2015) and \u2018No water on the other\u2019s edge\u2019 at Mieszkanie Gepperta Gallery, Wroclaw.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
