O universo e tr\u00eas culturas distintas se re\u00fanem num s\u00f3 corpo, voz, indiv\u00edduo. O migrante tem origem, o nacionalizado permanece estrangeiro, o cidad\u00e3o \u00e9 ainda um ser livre e ao mesmo tempo politizado?! Balantas s\u00e3o origin\u00e1rios da Guin\u00e9-Bissau, pa\u00eds situado na costa ocidental da \u00c1frica, e Welket \u00e9 hoje tamb\u00e9m e ainda balanta, mas cresceu numa Europa p\u00f3s-moderna, viveu em Portugal e no Brasil. ‘TCHON Di BALANTA’, \u00e9 dan\u00e7a, movimento e musicalidade que se inscrevem sob o desejo de um indiv\u00edduo desbravar o que lhe resta da sua heran\u00e7a cultural de origem africana, e o homem p\u00f3s-moderno europeu-ocidentalizado em que se viu tornar.<\/p>\n

Welket Bungu\u00e9<\/h4>\n

Ator, performer, guionista, realizador, autor, o luso-guineense de etnia balanta Welket Bungu\u00e9, nasceu em 1988 e \u00e9 membro permanente da Academia Portuguesa de Cinema. Estreou-se como ator em 2006 com ‘Hamlet’ dirigido por David Silva. Formou-se em Teatro, no ramo de atores pela Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema de Lisboa e \u00e9 graduado em Artes da Performance pela UniRio \u2013 RJ. Sempre teve predile\u00e7\u00e3o pelo cinema, e desde 2008 que trabalha na \u00e1rea tendo-se estreado no filme ‘KAMINEY’ realizado pelo diretor indiano Vishaal Bahardwaj. Nos \u00faltimos anos filmou no Brasil com Marcelo Gomes ‘Joaquim’ (2017), Marcelo Caetano ‘Corpo El\u00e9trico’ (2017) e Bernard Lessa. Atualmente coordena o festival de cinema e arte urbana Shortcutz Rio de Janeiro e vive entre Portugal e Brasil.<\/p>\n
