Lives and works in Lisbon. Holds a BA in Fine Arts from ESAD School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha and was a participant in the Independent Study Program of Visual Arts from Maumaus School. Winner of Novo Banco Revela\u00e7\u00e3o 2016 Prize and of D. Fernando I Sculpture Prize. In 2013 was the artist in residence at Mieszkanie Gepperta Gallery, Wroclaw, Poland. Since 2012 exhibits regularly in Portugal and abroad, both individually and in group exhibitions in which are distinguished: Novo Banco Revela\u00e7\u00e3o 2016, Serralves Contemporary Art Museum, Porto; Pousio, Ant\u00f3nio Duarte Museum, Caldas da Rainha (2015); Tabula Rasa, Zaratan &#8211; Arte Contempor\u00e2nea, Lisbon (2015); No Water on the Other\u2019s Edge, Mieszkanie Gepperta Gallery, Wroclaw, Poland; Water\u2019s Edge, Przeglad Sztuki SURVIVAL, Wroclaw, Poland (2013), among others.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>J\u00c9R\u00c9MY PAJEANC (PT| FRAN\u00c7A)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>J\u00e9r\u00e9my Pajeanc (Paris, France, 1988) Lives and works in Oporto and Marinha Grande, Portugal. Hols a BA in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Oporto\u2019s University. Since 2012 Pajeanc teaches Ceramic and Sculpture at the Faculty of Education of Oporto and Fine Arts and History of Art at the \u00c9cole Fran\u00e7aise of Oporto. At the same time, he develops an investigation about the relation between Art and Science in the glass, field in which his artistic work has been centered on. Since 2009 exhibits regularly in Portugal and abroad. He has won prizes such as \u2018Young creators Award\u2019 from Bienal de Cerveira in 2013, in partnership with K. Stepanskyy, and \u2018Young Promise\u2019, at the\u00a0 European Glass Context, representing Portugal in Denmark em 2012.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>JO\u00c3O VASCO PAIVA (PT\u00a0 | HONG KONG)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jo\u00e3o Vasco Paiva (Coimbra, Portugal, 1979) is a Hong Kong-based contemporary artist. Paiva received a BFA from the Porto Arts Institute in 2004 and an MFA in Creative Media from the City University of Hong Kong in 2008. He is the recipient of the Hong Kong Emerging Artist Grant and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation\u2019s International Artist Support Grant, amongst other. Has held residencies at Lichtenberg Studios, Berlin (2014) and Connecting Space, Zurich (2015). With a background in painting and advanced training in media techniques, his work is characterised by the appropriation of observed phenomena, mapping apparently random situations and presenting them in an aesthetically organised framework. His work has been widely shown in places such as: Athens, Beijing, Berlin, Budapest, Lisbon, Lyon, London, Moscow, New York, Prague, Rotterdam, S\u00e3o Paulo, Seoul, Shanghai and Sharjah.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>BRUNO LEITAO (PT)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bruno Leit\u00e3o completed a degree in Fine Arts at ESAD\u00adCR. He then received an MA in Curatorial Studies from Lisbon Fine Arts University and Caloust Gulbenkian Foundation. Bruno is now completing a PhD thesis under the title \u201cCurating between political art and formalism\u201d at UCLM. Alongside his studies, he has worked as an independent curator and art critic for such publications as Dardo Magazine and Artichock. He worked as curator at Lumiar Cit\u00e9, an exhibition space linked to the Maumaus School in Lisbon, from 2010 until late 2013. As part of his curatorial projects, Bruno Leit\u00e3o has worked with exhibitions presenting the work of Allan Sekula and Harun Farocki. His independent curatorial work includes Atelier Utopia Miguel Palma, at the EDP Foundation Oporto and the collective Narrativas Culturales, with artists Carlos Amorales, Sara Ramo, Marlon de Azambuja and Miguel Palma, in Madrid, Contrac\/to at 3+1 Arte Contemporanea in Lisbon with artists Felipe Ehrenberg, Carlos Nogueira, Los Torreznos and Sara e Andr\u00e9. Member of IKT \u2013 International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art since April 2013. As an art critic, he has written a number of critical works which, among others, include: a text about Antonio D\u00edaz Grande\/Ra\u00fal Hevia for \u201cMUSEA \u00ad Modos y Usos sobre Espacios de Arte\/ Modes and Uses of Spaces of Art\u201d edited in the catalogue for the exhibition that showed at Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa, in Lisboa and edited by Dardo in 2013. He is the founder of the Curatorial Clube. He collaborated with XEREM in the third edition of the TN workshop,\u201dOffline\u201d as a jury and guest curator.
