Moving between painting, photography, performance, and installation, Patr\u00edcio uses art as a tool for cultural affirmation and resistance. His renowned series Aceita? examines the exchange of values and symbols within Brazilian society, particularly in relation to African heritage.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his artistic career, Patr\u00edcio is a Babalorix\u00e1 and integrates Candombl\u00e9 philosophy into his creative process. His work has been exhibited in major institutions in Brazil and abroad, and he has participated in significant artistic residencies. He is currently in Portugal for an artistic residency at Hangar and Bordallo Pinheiro, deepening his research on Black Surrealism, the visual poetics of Orix\u00e1s, and the ritualistic aspects of art.
