Su\u00e1rez spent most of her childhood living on a farm in her mother&#8217;s ancestral Hungarian village of Hossz\u00fahet\u00e9ny before relocating with her family to South Florida. She received a BFA in Photography from The University of North Texas in 2019. All of Erika&#8217;s work is shot exclusively on medium and large format film since it enables her to make higher quality prints with greater detail.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to undertaking photographic commissions, she is currently completing a long-term project that focuses on the resurgence of traditional farming practices within communities in Europe, including her extended family in Hungary. Erika&#8217;s work has been exhibited internationally and featured in numerous publications and billboards.<\/p>\n<p>Erika lives and works between the Dallas\/Fort Worth area in Texas and Hossz\u00fahet\u00e9ny, Hungary.
