After starting philosophy at the University I realized that I could talk about the same topics that I studied but now through art so throughout my work I have worked on topics such as machismo, sex (which is a taboo in my previous generation), but also more personal themes such as nostalgia when living and then leaving a home, or when saying goodbye to someone dear. I have used traditional techniques such as painting, engraving and drawing, to GIF, text (which is very present in my work as a resource and as an image), installation and performance, but lately I have combined video as media (in terms of visual ) and the repetition of words (in terms of sound).<\/p>\n<p>I have participated in more than 15 group exhibitions and one individual. In 2020 I collaborated with the digital magazine &#8220;Agencia Ocote&#8221; for the \u201cDisappeared (women)\u201d segment of Estaci\u00f3n del Silencio with illustrations about the structural machismo that prevails in the Central American region.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2021, in a residency at the Centro Cultural de Espa\u00f1a en Guatemala, I composed 12 sound pieces with voice and piano in which I tell what it is like to walk in the city and in a small town like Panajachel, where I currently live.
