Alternate Realities is our programme for exhibiting and showcasing innovative non-fiction and immersive documentary in all forms.<\/p>\n

Whether using new technologies or creative techniques which break the boundaries of traditional documentary practice, the Alternate Realities programme highlights the bravest most intriguing developments in non-fiction by artists, technologists and documentarians.<\/p>\n

Platforms considered for exhibition include virtual (VR), augmented (AR) and mixed reality (MR), 360 video, moving image, sound art, web interactives, artificial intelligence, games and performance.<\/p>\n

We are delighted to welcome entries for artworks and projects in non-fiction storytelling for consideration for our 2023 Alternate Realities programme. We encourage entries from independent artists and collectives and from established artists or emerging new talent. To get inspired, take a look at the artworks selected for the 2022 Alternate Realities Programme<\/p>\n
