Joana Gomes (1986, Portugal). Visual Artist, works at Atelier Contencioso in Lisbon. In 2008 finished her Fine Arts degree in Painting by the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon and in 2011 her Master\u2018s Degree also in Painting at the same institution.
\nWorked in several museums and galleries as an assistent of prodution, namely, in Galeria Baginski and at MUDE \u2013 Museum of Fashion and Design. From 2012 on, she collaborated as a cultural mediator and since 2017 holds the position of coordinator of the Educational Service of Museu da Carris \u2013 Tram Museum of Lisbon. Also, she teaches Drawing and Painting at Odd School \u2013 Creative Media.
\nFor several years has participated in essays and conferences about Art Theory with international research teams financed by the Foundation for Science na Technology.
\nCo-founder of the Tempos de Vista Collective, a female artist group making site-specific public art work. The artist is actively exhibiting since 2008.<\/p>\n
