Charlie Morris (\u00a0B.F.A University of Texas at Austin and M.F.A. University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana) lives and works in San Antonio, Texas USA.
\nConceptually, Morris focuses on how private and public interests are expressed\u00a0and subsequently disseminated through various commercial mediums such as print, product, video, and corporate business promotional materials to the public at large. Morris\u2019s work addresses the recursive relationship between a seeming plethora of propaganda and the quality of collective consciousness it affects. Utilizing a variety of visual strategies such as juxtaposition, scale manipulation, and contextual shifts, Morris explores the separation between what we feel to be\u00a0the common daily, verses a reality seemingly engineered through conditioning.\u00a0Morris employs a variety of media to illustrate these interests.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
