\n

Dzifa Peters was born in 1982 to a Ghanaian mother and a German father.\u00a0She graduated in Visual Arts from Academy of Arts Duesseldorf and post graduated from Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany.\u00a0In her work she explores conceptions and representations of identity, in relation to culture, race and gender. She works in the fields of photography, photomontage, video, installation and writing. Her work includes autobiographic material, imaginative and performative elements, as well as encompasses modes of interdisciplinary collaboration with others.\u00a0She has been presenting her work at institutions and venues such as Space Art
\nAward Cologne, Gallery M29 Cologne, KIT Kunst im Tunnel Duesseldorf and has\u00a0received various grants for projects in several countries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
