Her work combines pictorial experimentation with a systematic reflection on the psychological aspects of violence and power. Taking photographic archives as a starting point, Najmanovich explores an uncomfortable and painful area of history, which is often omitted by official speeches.<br \/>\nMariana has exhibited in important galleries and museums, such as MAVI Museum of Visual Arts (Santiago, Chile); M100 Cultural Center (Santiago, Chile); MAC Museum of Contemporary Art (Santiago, Chile); Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB); Sobering Gallery (Paris, France); The Museum of America (Madrid, Spain) and Tyler Art Gallery of the State University of New York (SUNY).
