Sam\u2019s curatorial practice draws thematic influence from literature, focusing on ficto-critical approaches to arts presentation. This can involve written works and talk-based events, the latter utilising surplus curatorial research and thematic \u2018detritus\u2019 with often performative results.<br \/>\nSam graduated in photography from the University of Plymouth in 2006 and from CuratorLab, Konstfack, Stockholm in 2015. Recent curatorial projects include Underground Cathedrals, R a k e t a Studio, Stockholm, The Loneliness of the Middle-Distance Runner, Flux Factory, Queens, NY, To Begin, at the Beginning, NURTUREart, Brooklyn, NY, 2014 and Cities of Ash, g39, Cardiff, 2014.
