Sam Perry is an independent curator and artist, working with an international community of emerging artists and collectives. Sam\u2019s curatorial practice draws thematic influence from literature, focusing on ficto-critical approaches to arts presentation. This can involve written works and talk-based events, the latter utilising surplus curatorial research and thematic \u2018detritus\u2019 with often performative results.
\nSam graduated in photography from the University of Plymouth in 2006 and from CuratorLab, Konstfack, Stockholm in 2015. Recent curatorial projects include Underground Cathedrals, R a k e t a Studio, Stockholm, The Loneliness of the Middle-Distance Runner, Flux Factory, Queens, NY, To Begin, at the Beginning, NURTUREart, Brooklyn, NY, 2014 and Cities of Ash, g39, Cardiff, 2014. Sam is involved with the collectives Flux Factory\u00a0www.fluxfactory.org<\/a>\u00a0and Raketa\u00a0http:\/\/raketa.nu\/<\/a>
