Bersi\u2019s work tends to revolve around the figure; the human body, and the many shapes and forms that construct it, is a constant source of inspiration. Material is also a subject he explores throughout his work. Understanding how material affects the artefact as a whole is essential in his practice. Culture has also been a key theme in Bersi\u2019s work having grown up in both Scotland and Brazil, and both cultures having influenced the development of his work over the years. Bersi received his BA in Illustration and Animation at Kingston University (London, 2019).
