He is also co-founder of re_act contemporary, art laboratory and residence program based in the Azores Islands and no.stereo, an independent Artis-run platform. Paulo Arraiano has participated in several exhibitions, both solo and collective including Hawaii-Lisbon [Lisbon]; Dimora Artica [Milan]; Piv\u00f4 (S.Paulo); Museu d\u2019Historia da Catalunya (Barcelona); Art Rotterdam [Rotterdam]; Cidade das Artes Museum [Rio de Janeiro]; MAH Museum [Azores]; Quartier General, Centre d\u2019art Contemporain [La Chaux-de-Fonds]; Aeroplastics Contemporary [Brussels]; Petra Gut Contemporary [Zurich]; TAL Gallery [Rio de Janeiro]; ArtRio [Rio de Janeiro]; Pena Palace [Sintra]; Forty\/Forty [Warsaw]; Galeria Graphos [Rio De Janeiro]; Museu do C\u00f4a [V. N. Paulo Arraiano has also participated in several artist residency programmes, such as Walk&amp;Talk [Azores]; Transforma [Torres Vedras]; LAC [Lagos] among others. Lu\u00eds \/ Museum Quarter [Portugal]; MARCC Museum [Portugal].<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ramiro Guerreiro<\/strong> (1978, Portugal) has attended Architecture studies at Universidade do Porto and after that he completed the Independent Studies Program at Maumaus &#8211; School of Visual Arts, in Lisbon. Guerreiro has been showing regularly since 2003. Selected solo exhibitions include: Moi Aussi&#8230; (Lehmann+Silva Gallery, Porto, 2019); Untitled [Um Tanque Sem Fundo] (Adega Cooperativa de Olhalvo, Alenquer, 2018); The T.I.N.A. Pamphlet (Pneuma Project, Lisbon, 2017); Austerity &#8211; International Style &#8211; Spring\/ Summer 2016 (K\u00fcnstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlim, 2015); Marseille (Galerie Ch\u00e2teau de Servi\u00e8res, Marseille, 2013); Resto (Pavilh\u00e3o Branco, Municipal Galleries, Lisboa, 2011) or Verdes Anos (Cinzeiro 8, Museu da Electricidade, Lisbon, 2009). Selected group exhibitions include: Vanishing Point (Galeria Torre\u00e3o Nascente, Cordoaria Nacional, Lisbon, 2019); Escala 1:1 (Tabacalera, Madrid, 2018); Mistake! Mistake![&#8230;] (Lumiar Cit\u00e9, Lisbon, 2017), The House of Dust by Alison Knowles (CNEAI, Paris, 2017), J\u00e1 reparaste como um ponto de interroga\u00e7\u00e3o[&#8230;] (Atelier-Museu J\u00falio Pomar, Lisbon, 2016); This and There (Palais de Tokyo and Fondation d&#8217;entreprise Ricard, Paris, 2012) and The Multicultural in Our Time (Gyeonggi MoMA, South Korea, 2010). Guerreiro has shown performances at: \u00c9cole Superieur de Beaux-Arts (Angers, 2017), Museu de Serralves (Porto, 2016), Arquip\u00e9lago &#8211; Centro de Artes Contempor\u00e2neas (Ribeira Grande, 2015) and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon, 2013), among other venues. In 2005 Guerreiro was awarded in the first edition of the prize BES revela\u00e7\u00e3o and also got an Honorable Mention at the EDP novos artistas prize.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vanessa Fernandes<\/strong> (1978, Guin\u00e9-Bissau) made two years of Communication Design at Fine Arts of Porto; completed the course of Sound and Image at the Catholic University of Porto; and in July 2016 Master in Film and Television Directing at ESAP. Vanessa participated in the III Layounne Street Festival, Western Sahara in 2018 with installation and video projection. She is currently doing a series for RTPlab \u201cMathematics Salteada\u201d with In\u00eas Guimar\u00e3es (Mathgurl), and the documentary \u201cTalea Jacta est\u201d is a Porto rock band with Pedro Pestana and Jo\u00e3o Pais Filipe, winners of the Porto Creatorship 2018\/19. She has made some experimental short films of fiction, video dance and film, such as; \u201cTradition and imagination\u201d (2nd place in the 1st Cornelia Eckert Award for Ethnographic Film &#8211; Bragan\u00e7a, Amazonia &#8211; Brazil), \u201cFIJI\u201d, selected at the Cineautopsia Bogot\u00e1 &#8211; Colombia Experimental Film Festival. \u201cMikambaru\u201d at MICAR 2018 &#8211; Porto and Caminhos do cinema Portugu\u00eas 2016 in the \u201censaio category\u201d. \u201cSi destinu\u201d (Best Short Film Award at the Cape Verde International Film Festival in Sal Island &#8211; Cape Verde, selected at the Diaspora do Nile International Film Festival &#8211; Kampala 2016 and at Kiev Equality Festival 2016). \u201cDance, dance, dance\u201d video dance was selected for the traveling festival \u201cLE PLEINT DE SUPER\u201d &#8211; Portugal &#8211; France. 2016 and \u201cTIC TAC BOOM! \u201dAnimation film with T\u00e2nia Duarte selected at the 4th CINENIMA &#8211; International Animation Film Festival &#8211; Espinho &#8211; Portugal. As a performer participates in July 2018 in the Festival dos Canais &#8211; Aveiro, with the intervention \u201cwhat comes before\u201d with Sonia Carvalho, rebecca moradalizadeh and Teresa Fabi\u00e3o. She presents her own creation \u201cLead and cotton\u201d in the festival \u201cUne autre fa\u00e7on de d\u00e9couvrir la danse Africaine &#8211; 2018 &#8211; Benin\u201d. She has been doing butoh dance since 2016 and contemporary and traditional African dance since 2005.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Filipa Oliveira<\/strong> is, since 2018, the Visual Arts Programmer and Curator of the City of Almada, running the Casa da Cerca Art Center and the Municipal Art Gallery. She is also the founding curator of the Navigator Art on Paper Prize. From 2015 to 2017 she was the artistic director of the F\u00f3rum Eug\u00e9nio de Almeida in \u00c9vora, Portugal.\u00a0Prior she worked as an independent curator for 12 years working with institutions such as\u00a0Centro Cultural de Bel\u00e9m (Lisbon), Kettle\u2019s Yard (UK), John Hansards Gallery (UK), Tate Modern (UK), Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Calouste Gulbenkian Centro de Arte Moderna (Lisbon), Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Carmona e Costa (Lisbon), Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian (France), Berardo Museum (Lisbon), Crac Alsace (France), Kunstverein Springhornhof (Germany), Ffotogallery (UK), Mead Gallery (UK), Frieze Projects (UK), Stills Gallery (UK), among others. She was curatorial assistant of the 28th S\u00e3o Paulo Biennial and in 2012 was guest curator of the\u00a0Satellite at Jeu de Paume where she curated solo exhibitions of Jimmy Robert, Tamar Guimar\u00e3es, Rosa Barba and Filipa C\u00e9sar. She has an extensive list of essays in catalogues and in publications.
