Initiated by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/interspire.e-flux.com\/link.php?M=135024&amp;N=27090&amp;L=181562&amp;F=H\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/interspire.e-flux.com\/link.php?M%3D135024%26N%3D27090%26L%3D181562%26F%3DH&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1570174067001000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFCW5rzDdkC4ax5fZVY90RX8x8u6w\"><b>Bureau des arts plastiques of the Institut fran\u00e7ais Germany<\/b><\/a>, the German-French call for project has been announced every year since 2014.\u00a0<b>Exchange<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>dialogue<\/b>\u00a0are the main criteria: encounters between artists, architects, curators, critics, and art mediators from both countries will be selected for funding in order to facilitate the dissemination of ideas, works, and discourses across borders.<\/p>\n<p>The open call is addressed to cultural institutions such as museums, art and architecture centers, art associations, architectural studios, and independent exhibition spaces in the fields of contemporary art and architecture in Germany and France.<\/p>\n<p>Initiatives can apply for project funding starting\u00a0<b>October 1 until December 1, 2019<\/b>. The application takes place once a year and projects must be implemented in the following year.<\/p>\n<p>-PERSPEKTIVE\u2019s funding is aimed at temporary projects that promote exchange and dialogue between France and Germany: debates, collaborations, encounters, ideas and research labs, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and symposiums.<br \/>\n-The funding is specifically aimed at French (or French-based) participants in Germany or German (or German-based) participants in France.<br \/>\n-The projects must be supported by a German or French organization (museum, Kunstverein, art center, architecture center, project space, artist-run space, or architect\u2019s office). Projects from individuals as well as projects by or including students from (art) schools are not eligible for funding<br \/>\n-PERSPEKTIVE funds a maximum of 30% of the total project budget.<\/p>\n<p>An\u00a0<b>independent jury<\/b>\u00a0of German and French experts, headed by\u00a0<b>Marie Graftieaux<\/b>\u00a0(new director of the Bureau des arts plastiques), will select the winning projects.
