Gallo has graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from S\u00e3o Paulo University Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Armando \u00c1lvares Penteado. She also took part in courses such as \u201cCritical Monitoring of Painting\u201d, with artists Regina Parra and Rodolpho Parigi; \u201cProvenance and Property\u201d, with Charles Watson, Eduardo Berliner, Cadu Costa, Frederico Carvalho and Arthur Chaves; \u201cInstallation and Sculpture: Contemporary Possibilities\u201d, with artist Laura Bel\u00e9m. Drawing, painting and animation are the main poetic instruments Julia Gallo uses to address notions like the contemporary body and movement.<br \/>\nIn recent years, she participated exhibitions at Museu de Arte Brasileira \u2013\u00a0MAB (SP), Galeria Millan (SP), Galeria Jaqueline Martins (SP) and Espa\u00e7o Breu (SP).
